About Us

Baybrook Dog Training was established in 2006 by Lucy Davis. As a child living on a farm Lucy was always obsessed with animals but dogs were her main passion and she spent all her spare time training.

Whilst studying for her BSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology Lucy spent much of her spare time volunteering at Bath Dogs and Cats Home. Once graduated she worked for 10 years as a research Scientist at Cambridge University but her passion was always with dogs and this continued as a hobby, with spare time filled with competition obedience and breed showing her beloved German Shorthaired Pointers.

During this time Lucy returned to college gaining a Diploma in Dog Training and Integrated Behaviour counselling, an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management, an entry level personal counselling course and began assisting and teaching at Newmarket and District Canine Society (NDCS).

Today Lucy is an ABTC Accredited Animal Behaviourist and an Animal Training Instructor, is on the Board of  The Canine Behaviour and Training Society (TCBTS) and runs Baybrook Dog Training. She receives vet referrals from all over for behaviour cases, teaches pet dog training classes, Scent work, pet gundogs and working gundogs for the field and when she has time still competes at a high level with her own dogs.

Lucy is married to Paul, has three children Matthew, Samuel and Alice, three dogs Logan a GSP, Callie a Parson Russell Terrier  and Danny a working Labrador as well as lots of guniea pigs and chickens!
